I first discovered the power of mindset as a child when my grandmother told me, ‘There’s no such word as can’t’. I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but it fascinated me.

A few years later my life transformed with sports coaching long before I even knew what coaching was. When I joined my school rowing club I had an elite fitness transformation.

In two years, I went from getting a stitch in cross-country to earning a seat in the fastest GB junior crew. Whilst I’d love to call it raw talent, it was world-class coaching and a complete shift in mindset.

This experience didn’t just make me a better athlete; it rewired how I approach life. I’d had my first taste of elite success, and I was hooked.

That’s when I started connecting the dots. If there’s a playbook for becoming an elite athlete, surely, I can apply it to any area of my life…

So, I did, and it worked.

At 21, adventure called and I moved to Ibiza.

By 27, I was leading a team of 400 across global territories. I didn’t have all the answers, but I had the same playbook that powered those early mornings on the river: mindset, discipline, absolute belief, and maybe a bit too much caffeine. It worked again. In six months, we grew profit from £1m to £5m. I say this not to boast, but to prove, cliché as it sounds, you can have anything you want if you’re brave enough to go after it.

By the time I hit 30, I’d already lived a lifetime. Based between Ibiza, Mallorca and London, I was surrounded by visionaries; ultra-high achievers who operated without limits. That world became my classroom, expanding my mindset and blowing the ceiling off what I thought was possible. I kept adding chapters to my playbook and rose into a whole new level where ‘impossible’ didn’t exist.

I started coaching winners. People not necessarily born into wealth or privilege, but who share an elite mindset. Leading corporate teams and mentoring top achievers taught me what drives change and what is a complete waste of time.

I've experienced a lot of coaching myself over 30 years. Sports coaching for fitness and performance, life coaching for business and mindset. Excellent coaching has transformed me.

I love my clients and to coin an Ibiza euphemism, I’ll never leave the club while you’re still on the dance floor. Your goals become mine and we achieve them together.

Other things about me:

  • I have a degree in psychology.
  • I’ve completed 3 marathons on water (rowing not walking on it) and won gold twice at GB junior level.
  • It took my parents years to get over me moving to Ibiza the night I graduated from Cambridge.
  • At 21 I was profiled in Cosmopolitan for my ‘cool job’ in Ibiza.
  • I was briefly a cover girl on a ski brochure following a season in France. Surprisingly Vogue never called.
  • I said good morning to Stephen Hawking for 3 years en route to lectures without realising who he was. My intellectual peak came later.
  • I worked 7 days a week, 16 hours a day in my first job.
  • At 27 I bought my first home in Ibiza in 48 hours. I tend to trust my instinct.
  • At 37 I had a serious ski accident. After 3 months in hospital, 3 years of yoga, meditation, self-development (an incredible husband and a genius neurologist) Katy 2.0 emerged. Gratitude seems too small a word.
  • At 40 I joined the board of the UK’s largest independent airline. The first female in 50 years, 74 territories and a 9-figure budget.
  • I’ve encountered some of life’s toughest situations overseas and supported others through fatality, accident, rape, addiction, trauma and political revolution.
  • I’ve learnt a smile always crosses culture and language.
  • At 42 I launched a hotel chain that featured in The Sunday Times.
  • I became a mother to 2 wonderful daughters in my 40s. While I was pregnant, I staged concerts with David Guetta, Stormzy, and Swedish House Mafia. This could explain my eldest daughter’s incredible rhythm.
  • I’ve been with my husband Rob for 29 years. We met in our early 20s, grew up together in Ibiza but have only been married 9 years. He played hard to get.
  • We still have homes in Ibiza and Mallorca. We moved back to the UK 6 years ago for our daughters to grow up in the countryside. Hopefully one day they’ll forgive us…
